Burnett who they hope will re-arm them for another run at a championship. Their contracts, worth a combined $243.5 million, made the biggest splash at MLB's recent winter meetings. MORNEAU TOP CANADIAN New Westminster native and Baseball's AL MVP in 2006 Justin Morneau has been named the first player to Canada's Baseball Classic team while ex- Toronto Blue Jays catcher Ernie Whitt will manage. Canada will play out of Pool C with the U.S., Venezuela and Italy. Opening game is March 7 against the U.S.
