Minnesota Twins replace Philip Humber with Rockies pitcher Juan Morillo
Philip Humber's rough two innings in Wednesday's loss to Toronto might have sealed his fate with the Minnesota Twins .

Minnesota has designated the former No. 3 overall pick for assignment after Wednesday's outing increased his ERA to 12.46 in four appearances.

Colorado Rockies right-hander Juan Morillo was claimed off waivers and will replace Humber on the Twins' roster. Morillo has six major-league appearances, including one start, and owns an 11.42 ERA. He has not appeared in a game this season.

Humber, 26, was one of four players acquired from the New York Mets in February 2008 for pitcher Johan Santana.
