MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota Twins third baseman Joe Crede returned to the lineup on Tuesday night after missing three games with a sore left hamstring.
Crede was injured last week in Baltimore. The Twins wanted to be cautious, so he missed the weekend home series against Seattle. Brian Buscher and Brendan Harris filled in for him at third base.Crede says he has felt better every day and told manager Ron Gardenhire when he got to the Metrodome on Tuesday that he was ready to go against Detroit.
In his first season with the Twins, Crede is hitting .232 with three homers and seven RBIs.
