If the Rays remain in contention in the AL East, last year's rookie of the year could add another award to his collection. 2. Miguel Cabrera
The Tigers don't even have to contend for Cabrera to be a candidate. He set career highs in homers (37) and RBIs (127) last season, and that was with a slow start. Imagine if gets going in April.
3. Justin Morneau
He won the award in '06 and finished second last season. If the Twins capture the AL Central crown, it will be due to Morneau's run-producing prowess.
